    2010

The race season 2010 has been countersigned by the division of the Team in two separated structures.

In one Team have raced the Rookie Riders and in the other one have raced the Riders of greater experience with at least one year of World Motorbike Championship behind them. In the Team Air Asia made their debut the young Malayan Rider Zulfhami Khairuddin and the Norwegian Sturla Fagheraug. The Malayan Rider, after an intense winter preparation program, has been put under the conditions to debut in the World Motorbike Championship despite he had shown important gaps both from a technical and sporting point of view.

The operation had a quite good outcome as the Rider has succeeded not only in qualifying himself and in competing in all the races but he also has, in some events, reached the point zone in the Championship. The Norwegian Rider Sturla Fagheraugh, making his debut as well, has raced some interesting races but he has been victim during the season of quite a lot physical problems and also of a wrong competitive approach, key factors that very probably have conditioned his results.

In the Ongetta Team have raced the German Jonas Folger, the Italian Luca Marconi and the French Alexis Masbou.

Jonas Folger, another Rider that we have grown and discovered, has shown both good driving abilities and competitive approach but he had a lot of difficulties, especially to the beginning of the season, to adapt himself to the new RSA bike. Subsequently the Rider has gradually improved his results but however Jonas has constantly suffered lacks of performances probably due to his important physical growth.

The Italian Luca Marconi, despite 2010 was his second year in the World Motorbike Championship, has never succeeded in showing the talent to compete to the levels that the World Motorbike Championship requires and he has always shown notable approach difficulties from both technical and competitive point of view. The French Alexis Masbou, by now veteran of the Championship, has had a really difficult year, devastated by accidents and falls that have conditioned his results. Alexis has not ended the season because of the posthumous of a brain concussion suffered to Indianpolis.

    2009

THE TEAM IS STILL GROWING AND IT LINES UP 4 PILOTS IN THE SPORTING YEAR 2009. ALL OF THEM ARE IN THE 125 CC. CLASS.

The team, which is more and more involved in discovering and managing young talents, expanded its sporting group and lined up 4 Pilots in the Grand Prix motorcycle racing. Andrea Iannone, who started the Championship with the ambition to come in the top five places, rode the Official Aprilia RSA 125.

This Pilot, who trained hard during winter with the "Empowerment" training programme managed by Worldwide, after a very good start (he won the 2 first Grand Prix) unfortunately had a slump in his performances during the sporting year and he came 7th in the final ranking.

The big surprise of the sporting year was Jonas Folger, the 16 years old German Pilot that many times showed that he is competitive (he came 2nd in Le Mans). The other 2 Pilots Takaaki Nakagami and Lorenzo Zanetti respectively came 16th and 19th.

    2008

THE TEAM GOES ON WITH ITS POLICY OF LINING UP 3 PILOTS AND DISCOVERING NEW AND YOUNG TALENTS.

In the sporting year 2008 the Team presents once more 3 Pilots in the 125 cc class and two of them would turn out to be young promises.

The Team signs up Andrea Iannone, who had an unlucky debut in the previous Championship but it seems as if this Team is the right place where his talent can emerge. With the Team he wins his first Grand Prix and gains many interesting results, that make people hope that in the next sporting year he will be a protagonist in his class. In the final ranking of the Championship he comes 10th.

Next to him there is the very young beginner Takaaki Nakagami, he is playing his first Championship and he ends in the 24th place.

The performance of the Austrian Miki Ranseder is unsatisfying, he is a veteran in the Motorcycle races who seems to have lost determination and motivations. He comes 23rd.

    2007

THE TEAM GOES ON WITH ITS POLICY OF LINING UP 3 PILOTS AND DISCOVERING NEW AND YOUNG TALENTS.

The Racing Team has lined up 3 Pilots in the 125 cc class also this year and it always aims at finding young promises to make them race in the Grand Prix motorcycle racing. This policy seems to be the central thread of the Stable: discovering new talents and including them in the entrance class of the Championship. The Team goes on working on its last discovery, the Neapolitan Raffaele de Rosa, who seems to be destined for good sport goals. It also brings two young Pilots to their debut, the Swiss Dominque Aegerter and the Italian Simone Grotzky Giorgi, both of them at their first year in the Championship. Raffaele de Rosa, after a very convincing start, halfway through the Championship has a slump in his performances and he ends the sporting year in the 16th place. The others end respectively in the 23rd and 29th place.

    2006

The Racing Team leaves the 250 cc. class and focuses on the 125 cc. one with the mission to find new talents in order to include them in the Grand Prix motorcycle racing

The team signs a prestigious contract with the Spanish Pablo Nieto, who is World Champion Angel Nieto's son. The pilot, who is a veteran in this class, after a career which was full of ups and downs, looks for a new dimension where he can prove his talent. This sporting year seems to be good from a technical point of view but the pilot's performances are not convincing yet. It seems as if he no longer believes in his capacity and he thinks he is in the twilight of his career. He ends the Championship in the 13th place.

The Team signs up the young Neapolitan Pilot Raffaele de Rosa, who seems to have a good talent and he could be one of the Italian Motorcycling promises. He races in a quite convincing way during this sporting year, even if he shows that he has some difficulties in the psychological approach during the trials. He is also a bit lacking in determination in the crucial race moments. He ends the Championship in the 16th place.
